Soy Marinated Eggs with Sichuan Crunch

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs

  • 3 stalks of green onions, chopped

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 3 teaspoons sugar

  • 2 teaspoons House of Trinh Sichuan Crunch

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs:

    • Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the eggs and boil for 6 minutes.

  2. Prepare the Ice Bath:

    • While the eggs are boiling, prepare an ice bath. Once the eggs are done, transfer them to the ice bath to cool for easier peeling.

  3. Make the Marinade:

    • In a bowl, combine the chopped green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, sugar, and House of Trinh Sichuan Crunch. Mix well.

  4. Marinate the Eggs:

    • Once the eggs are cool, peel them and add them to the marinade. Let them marinate for 2 hours (or up to 24 hours for a deeper flavor).

  5. Serve:

    • Enjoy your marinated eggs as a snack or topping for rice or noodles!
